Hotel Empordà Figueres
The Hotel Empordà is a family-run establishment. Its prestigious restaurant, "The Motel" recalls the origin of the hotel Hotel Empordà as step on the road to Figueres in France.
Founded in 1961 by Josep Mercader, one of the mythical figures of the Catalan gastronomy that exerted a great teaching and left a great legacy to the present, The Motel has passed to his successor Jaume Subirós, which currently runs the establishment. From local products with imagination, intelligence and sensitivity, Mercader created school. This school currently continues its creativity at the highest levels of the regional dishes.
In the mid-seventies, with great vision and an identical philosophy, Subirós family opened another flagship hotel on the Costa Brava: The Almadraba Park Hotel in Roses, in a rare, quiet spot with exceptional views.
The Hotel Emporda has 39 double rooms and 3 suites. All have air conditioning and heating, telephone, TV with digital satellite channels, CNN and radio, minibar (fee), safe, Internet access, double pillow slippers, directory services, free newspaper, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, different amenities, hot tub and Terrassa.
It offers free outdoor parking or indoor garage closed spaces.
