Carnival in Sant Quirze del Vallès
Sant Quirze del Vallès celebrates Carnival once again with a grand parade and various activities for all audiences!
The day will begin with the concentration of the troupes and participants on Països Catalans avenue starting at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the route will begin, passing through Plaza 14 de Abril, Rambla de Lluís Companys, Vallcorba Street, U de Octubre Street and Pau Casals Avenue.
The parade will end in the Plaza de Anselm Clavé, where the party will begin with a popular butifarrada (a traditional sausage-fest) prepared by local authorities and a concert by the cover band La Tropical. While the jury decides on the winners of the costume contest, attendees will be able to enjoy live music.
At 9:00 p.m., Her Majesty the Carnival Queen will give her speech and the prizes will be awarded. Finally, at 9:30 p.m., La Tropical will return to the stage to bring the celebration to a close with more music and dancing.
