Meet Your Coffee Awards Barcelona 2025

Barcelona is getting ready to experience it on a grand scale with the 4th edition of My Coffee Awards, from November 7th to 9th at Nau Bostik, one of the most emblematic cultural spaces in the Poblenou neighborhood.

This year, visitors will be able to enjoy an open bar of coffee throughout the festival: with the purchase of a ticket, all coffee served within the venue will be free, a unique experience to enjoy unlimited tastings of the best specialty coffee offerings.

Following its international expansion and name change (formerly BCN Coffee Awards), the event aims to exceed 15,000 visitors and establish itself as the largest gathering on the Iberian Peninsula for specialty coffee professionals and enthusiasts.

A new generation of awards

The awards ceremonies are one of the most anticipated moments of the festival. Seeing the best baristas, roasters, and coffee shops in action is a unique opportunity to learn and be inspired.

This year, the My Coffee Awards will recognize excellence in categories such as Coffee Shop Experience, Coffee Personality of the Year, Breakthrough Coffee Shop, Excellence in Coffee Training, Pastry and Baking Experience, Design and Ambience, and Sustainability.

The "Michelin Guide to Coffee"

The festival will feature the launch of My Coffee Guide, a new international evaluation system that will award "coffee greats" to the best coffees, highlighting the true quality behind each cup.

Immersive experiences

The urban spirit will permeate every corner of the event, with an experimental space offering flash tattoos, beauty on the go, palm readings, and chiropractic, always accompanied by a good cup of coffee.

Official championships

Lovers of cup art and competition will be able to enjoy the Official SCA Championships: Latte Art (the art of drawing with steamed milk) and Cup Tasters (blind tasting). A perfect opportunity to test your senses and experience the excitement of the competition firsthand.

Innovation and flavor

Oatly will exclusively present its signature plant-based drinks and ice creams, combining flavor, sustainability, and creativity in each recipe.

Learn, share, celebrate

Beyond the main venue, the educational program will extend throughout Barcelona with workshops and activities in collaboration with leading brands in the sector.

Oatly, DART Caffeine, and Loring will lead training sessions in coffee shops and specialty spaces like Mae Coffee, featuring advanced training, sensory workshops, and activities dedicated to water and sustainability.

Gastronomy and urban culture

The festival will feature a wide selection of culinary offerings for all tastes, from the classic Antonia's Burgers and Morgan's Mexican Food to Bien Kebab, Chica's Cheesecakes, and signature desserts.

And since there's no coffee without music, Saturday night will see the official party in collaboration with La Marzocco, held at La Textil, one of Barcelona's most iconic breweries.

Founded in Barcelona in 2022 by Rafael Maggion and André Barretto, My Coffee Awards has marked a before and after in the Iberian specialty coffee scene.

Promoted by My Coffee Guide, the project brings together coffee professionals and enthusiasts in an environment where education, art, design, and sustainability coexist in perfect harmony.

In just four years, the festival has established itself as the largest specialty coffee event on the Peninsula, with more than 50,000 coffees served each year and visitors from around the world.
After selling out its first three editions, the team is preparing for a fourth edition that promises to exceed all expectations.
