Guided tour of the Engineers' Trail with 8treks
Explore this circular route with expert guides from 8Treks!
The Engineers' Trail is a fascinating alternative to the GR-11, originally designed for a power plant project that was to transform the Coma de Vaca into an artificial lake. Fortunately, that dam was never built, and in its place we now have one of the most evocative trails in the Pyrenees, linking the Núria Valley with the Coma de Vaca Refuge.
On this route we will start from the Daió Power Plant, go to the Coma de Vac Refuge to the Núria Valley and finish at the Daió Power Plant.
Each section of the Engineers' Trail combines natural beauty with the history of a never-ending electrical project, revealing tunnels and dreamy views that captivate the senses.
