A campsite next to the Costa Brava Wetlands Natural Park, a campsite that coexists in harmony with the surrounding flora and fauna. Those who stay here feel part of a larger family. For 50 years, Náutico Almata has been a meeting point for families of all ages who enjoy nature and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere. It's a campsite that offers a perfect combination of relaxation, sports activities, and contact with nature.

Camping Náutico Almata is a paradise for any sports enthusiast, from kayaking and windsurfing to cycling and running. On the beach, you can rent sailing equipment, paddle tennis, or play volleyball. If you're more into the mountains, there are cycling tours in the area and trekking routes to tourist towns like Cadaqués.

Award-winning: Since 2023, Náutico Almata has also won the Royal German Camping Club's Tourism Excellence Award in the camping category. This approach has been recognized with awards highlighting the quality and authenticity of the camping experience.

Natural environment and outdoor activities

The campsite's location in the middle of the protected natural landscape of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà is breathtaking. The views from the top of the park's silos, where rice was once stored, reveal a unique setting: a secluded spot in a privileged location: in the north of the natural park and bordered to the south by the Fluvià River. Canals flow into the river, allowing small boats to navigate directly to the sea.

These boats are moored at the campsite, in front of the accommodation or pitch chosen by the guest. Families can explore the surrounding area by bike, hike, discover the local birdlife, or stroll along the long, fine sandy beach where they can enjoy water sports. The Almata Nautical Campsite is a place for active people who appreciate cultural and, especially, sporting events.

Activities for the whole family

It's never a place to get bored. A pool for the little ones takes care of this, as well as a fun program consisting of tournaments and entertainment shows for the whole family. Sports activities such as kayaking, yoga, and aquagym are great entertainment for the older guests. Those who prefer to stroll or relax can walk through the shopping area and the campsite's countless streets surrounded by greenery. Or play tennis, petanque, or ping-pong on the various sports courts or visit the indoor gym opposite reception.

During the month of May, sporting competitions take place, the 2nd Norai Festival for live music lovers, and we can't forget to mention the grand celebration of Midsummer Night in June, which kicks off the eagerly awaited summer. Vacations are the best time of year, and often shorter than we'd like.

Thanks to the newly furnished coworking space with individual spaces, internet access, and air conditioning, you can combine family life and work, extending this family holiday season for a few days to spend more time together. This year, Camping Náutico Almata wanted to continue its Green movement. That's why it has installed solar panels to power part of the campsite's electrical grid, as well as six parking spaces for electric cars.
