Province: Lleida | Shire: Pla d'Urgell | Inhabitants: 735 | Extension: 16,1 Km2 | Altitude: 269 m

Almost halfway between Mollerussa and Tàrrega, Castellnou de Seana is an eminently agricultural municipality of 700 inhabitants, proud of its traditions that offers visitors the tranquility of the rural environment typical of the Lleida plain and is a good starting point to get to know various towns. and natural spaces of interest in the surroundings.

One of the most outstanding buildings is the parish church of San Juan Bautista, a temple from the 17th century, in the late Renaissance style and which has a beautiful square-shaped bell tower. There is also a huge shell on the main altar. The building was built on an old church, possibly Romanesque.

We must also mention Cal Blassó, an old house with a beautiful stone façade, built between the 16th and 17th centuries.
