La Primavera del Cava returns in May with 16 activities among the vineyards!

From May 9th to 31st, the La Primavera del Cava wine tourism festival celebrates its eighth edition with a program packed with activities that combine winemaking tradition with nature and gastronomy. For almost a month, a total of sixteen wineries in the Alt Penedès, Alt Camp, and Conca de Barberà regions will offer exclusive experiences designed for all audiences, from wine lovers to families and visitors who want to discover the cava world in a different way.

La Primavera del Cava activities have been designed to offer a complete experience, combining cava tasting with outdoor activities and gastronomic experiences. Highlights of this edition include farmhouse breakfasts, concerts among the vineyards, chocolate and cheese pairings, hikes and excursions among the vineyards, blind tastings, outdoor meditation and yoga workshops, meals surrounded by nature, oyster and cava tastings, flower and cava tastings, and photography workshops in the vineyards. In addition to these activities, each winery will offer exclusive experiences that will allow visitors to deepen their knowledge of cava and the production process, from guided tours to special tastings.

Located mainly in the Alt Penedès, but also in the Alt Camp, and Conca de Barberà, the wineries participating this year are: Canals & Munné, Capitán Vidal, Carles Andreu, Castillo de Oro, Cavas Hill, Bodega Kripta, Covades, Giró del Gorner, Joan Segura Puja U, Vilarnau and Vins el Cep. The wineries, located in territories recognized for their winemaking tradition, are leaders in the production of cava and in the promotion of experiential wine tourism.

This initiative, which defines itself as "pure wine tourism," is coordinated by the Cava Producers' Association (AECAVA). Its activities are open to the public, open-air, and with limited capacity. Places are limited and can be reserved now at www.laprimaveradelcava.com.
