The Comakalada in Gerb

The Comarkalada is a youth gathering that will take place this year in Gerb on June 14th. This event promises to be packed with activities for all ages, turning the town's soccer field into the epicenter of youth in La Noguera. Organized by the Gerb Youth Association, the Gerb Municipal Development and Development (EMD), and the Youth Office of the La Noguera Regional Council, the Comarkalada anticipates a similar level of participation as in recent years, with around fifteen youth associations from various municipalities in the region.

At the Comarkalada presentation event, held at the Noguera Youth Office, the musical lineup and program of activities were revealed!

Musical Poster and Activities

This year's evening music lineup is headlined by concerts by Comandantes de Tros, Kintus, and DJ Jordi Laro. During the day, we'll also be able to enjoy performances by Maria Fernández, Dúo Guiu, Martí, the Pistachos Brass Band, and Miki Miras. One of this year's notable new features is that admission to the evening concerts is free, as is admission to the performances throughout the day.

Youth Fair

One of the distinctive features of the Comarkalada will once again be the Fira Jove (Youth Fair), where participating youth associations will showcase their creativity. This year, the chosen theme is "Musical Styles," and each association must represent their chosen musical genre through costumes or dances. They will also have to decorate their stands with motifs reminiscent of this type of music. Prizes for the winning stands will be 300 euros for first place, 200 euros for second place, and 100 euros for third place.

Program of Activities

In addition to the concerts and the Fira Jove (Youth Fair), the program of events includes street performances and competitions, among other activities. The Comarkalada is an initiative that forms part of the Regional Youth Plan, with the aim of promoting territorial balance, social cohesion, and relationships between young people from all the towns in the region. This event seeks to strengthen the involvement of the host town's youth in the planned activities.
