Municipal independence festival in Vilanova del Vallès
Vilanova del Vallès celebrates the Municipal Independence Festival with a celebratory meal and the Dotze de Febrer awards ceremony!
It has been 40 years since the municipality celebrated the constitution of the new City Council. It was February 12, 1984 and Vilanova woke up partying on a sunny Sunday. The town square was full of all the residents of Vilanova del Vallès who did not want to miss that long-awaited moment.
At 12 noon the event began, which was attended by the general director of the Local Administration of the Generalitat, deputies of the Parliament of Catalonia and the Provincial Council of Barcelona, the neighboring mayors and members of the Management Commission.
