Manifesta15

This year's edition, the largest yet, will cover an area of 3,000 km² and involve a population of 5.1 million. Manifesta 15 seeks to redefine the relationships between art, culture and society, acting as a driving force for socio-ecological change. Key themes include research into alternative models for the decentralisation of contemporary culture in Catalonia, with cities organised into three thematic clusters: Balancing Conflicts, Caring and Caring for Ourselves, and Imagining Futures. Granollers, as part of the Caring and Caring for Ourselves cluster, will work together with Terrassa, Sabadell and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Manifesta 15 will foster an ongoing dialogue between local communities and international cultural creators, taking advantage of exceptional spaces that will act as symbols of the thematic focus of this edition, bringing new perspectives to Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
