Festival of Sant Antoni Abad in Solsona
Solsona celebrates one of its most ancient festivals invoking the patron saint of the muleteers, whose main attraction is the parade and the Three Tombs.
The Festival of Sant Antoni Abad represents the vindication of a legacy of rural ancestors, the festival of the veneration of the patron saint of the muleteers of Catalonia, in which all sectors related to livestock participated ( peasants, ranchers, cart drivers,....).
Today the central part of the festival is made up of the parade and the Tres Tombs, enlivened, on the one hand, by bugles and drums, which consists of a cavalry parade.
The horses wear their best clothes, and in each edition a pendonist of honor is invited to accompany the procession.
