Colonia Güell in Santa Coloma de Cervelló celebrates the Modernisme Festival!
The Colony's Modernisme Festival recreates, in a party format, aspects of daily life in the Colony from a hundred years ago, through theatrical corners, musical performances, exhibitions and other recreational elements. And all this is the incomparable setting of the unique modernist architecture of this Colony.
This festival organized annually by the La Colonia Modernista Association aims to show, in the most faithful way possible to history, some aspects of social life at the beginning of the 20th century, as well as the elements of industrial archeology contained in Colonia Güell.
But above all, with dissemination we want to contribute to the preservation of its identity, the conservation of its architectural heritage and the cohesion of its neighborhood.
