Danseu Festival in Les Piles
Danseu Festival is the international festival of dance and movement arts in a rural context. A summer event that annually celebrates culture in Les Piles, a municipality of only 200 inhabitants located in Conca de Barberà, Catalonia.
An appointment that connects more than 2000 people, movement arts students and almost a hundred artists with the land and rural landscapes.
Founded by Pau Estrem and Nuri Aguilar in 2013, the project emphasizes the decentralization of culture to create and retain new audiences. Shows, support for creation, artist residencies, professional training in dance and movement arts, workshops, activities and community projects.
