Caramelles in Cardona
Live the caramelles of Cardona as it used to be: singing and dancing in the rural houses of the town. M is 200 caramellaires celebrate the arrival of Easter and spring!
In the past caramelles were not sung only in the streets of the town. The singers also moved to the country houses, on the outskirts of the town, since then there were many scattered farmhouses.
In Cardona, although this tradition lasts, it is the Caramelles a Labrador. In the houses they wait for them with the table set and, above all, with the desire to see the dance of bells. And it is that in the past caramelles were also danced. It was a kind of ritual to drive out demons and evil spirits.
