2-day guided tour to Cadí Moixeró with 8Treks

Discover a unique experience in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park by following the entire GR150.1 trail!

A two-day trek filled with spectacular landscapes, iconic peaks, and true adventure. We'll depart from Josa de Cadí and end at Coll de Pal, spending the night at the Sant Jordi Refuge. We'll climb peaks such as Vulturó, Costa Cabirolera, Comabona, Moixeró, Peñas Altas, and La Tosa. A challenging and unforgettable route for mountain lovers, guided by the expert guides of 8Treks.

• Duration: Saturday 7:00 a.m. - Sunday 4:00 p.m. approx.
• Type of route: Linear.
• Total distance: approx. 41.5 km.
• Cumulative positive elevation gain: +3106 m.
• Accumulated negative elevation gain: -2400 m.
• Difficulty level: High.

Day 1:

Josa de Cadí - Vulturó - Costa Cabirolera - Comabona - Sant Jordi Refuge
26.3 km | +1755 m / -1591 m

Day 2:

Sant Jordi Refuge - Moixeró - Peñas Altas - La Tosa - Coll de Pal
15.1 km | +1351 m / -809 m

We left the cars in Josa on Saturday and on Sunday a taxi will return us from Coll de Pal.

Services included

Recommended and essential material

• Clothing: hiking boots, 3-layer technical clothing (raincoat, fleece and technical t-shirt) and primaloft, gloves, hat, 30-40 L backpack and waterproof cover for the backpack, sleeping bag, microfiber towel and flip-flops for the shelter.
• Sun protection: Sunglasses, sunscreen, lip protection, and a hat.
• Safety equipment: First aid kit (for possible bottles, personal medications, thermal blanket, etc.), headlamp with spare batteries, and mobile phone with charger.
• Food (including dinner and breakfast at the refuge): Recommended (1.5 L of water, sandwich, fruit, nuts, energy bars, chocolate...).
• Recommended: Telescopic trekking poles and carrying no more than 10% of your body weight in your backpack.

Additional information

• Minimum number of participants required for the route: 5. If the group cannot be formed, the full amount will be refunded.
• All payments are non-refundable, unless the activity is cancelled by the 8Treks organization due to insufficient group size.
• 8TREKS reserves the right to modify the route if necessary to ensure the safety of the group.
