Come to the Major Festival of Sant Feliu de Llobegat, Calaix de Sastre
Once again this year, Sant Feliu celebrates its Sant Llorenç Festival with a packed program of activities for all audiences. At Calaix de Sastre, as a founding member and partner of the Sant Feliu Festival Committee, we actively collaborate in organizing almost all of the events that will bring life to the city's streets and squares.
The party will begin on Thursday, August 7, with pre-event activities that kick off an intense weekend. Although we're not directly organizing this event, we're once again involved in two activities we're particularly excited about: the bubble bath with Gil Ratataplam and the participatory mural, which, as always, we've enthusiastically managed from Calaix de Sastre.
Thursday night will also be packed with festivities, including a popular dinner, a satirical proclamation, a concert by the group All Foll, and the start of the Enriqueta Martí Trivial Competition, which is now in its fourth year.
On Friday, August 8th, Plaça de la Vila will be the stage for one of the festival's highlights: the circus show Fa vola! by the Viral Circ company, a performance also coordinated by Calaix de Sastre. This street performance, designed for families and children, invites us on an emotional journey filled with magic and humor. When the protagonist opens her grandmother's house, she inherits much more than walls: she discovers ties, memories, and souls that dance through time. With clowns, trapeze artists, acrobatics, and a keen stage presence, ¡Hace vuela! reminds us that true inheritance lies in the ability to bring a smile, even in the most profound moments.
The day continues with the opening speech by the Gigantes Viejos, the official Fiesta Mayor opening speech, an outdoor dinner, a movie, and the traditional Fanalet Ball, which will give way to an evening of music with PD Wisdomlink.
Saturday, August 9th, kicks off with a hearty breakfast and a morning full of family and creative activities. At 12:30 p.m., we'll enjoy a musical aperitif with the cover band TalKual, followed in the afternoon by traditional bowling, a performance by La Llorença, and another evening of a communal dinner, stand-up comedy, and music. A day to be enjoyed from sunrise to sunset.
Finally, on Sunday, August 10th, we'll close the festivities with a day full of popular culture: trabucaires, a parade, solemn mass, and traditional dances in the morning. In the afternoon, sardanas, the grand finale of the Enriqueta Martí Trivial Competition, and a closing habanera with burnt rum.
Don't miss it!
