La Guingueta d'Àneu

La Guingueta d'Àneu is a municipality in the Pallars Sobirà region. It is the result of the union of three old municipalities: Escaló, Jou and Unarre. The result has been a municipal term of force extension: 108.42 km².
It is 925m and extends along the head of the La Torrassa reservoir, an important center for recreational fishing. It is the head of the municipality and houses the City Hall building and a medical dispensary. It is on both sides of the C-13 road and is, like Escaló, one of the two towns that reside at the bottom of the valley.
