Transhumance Fair in Mollet de Peralada
The Transhumance Fair is held in March in Mollet de Peralada!
The event brings together all kinds of producers and artisans of products related to livestock. They have also prepared a lot of activities for both children and adults, as well as concerts, a popular rice dish, workshops, theater and much more! The purpose of the Fair is to preserve, enhance and promote transhumance.
As its name says, it has a cattle-raising origin and was born in the context of the transhumance of the herds that came up from the plains to the high pasture areas during the spring.
