Pyrenees Book Fair in Organyà

The Pyrenees Book Fair is a cultural and literary event held annually in the town of Organyà, usually on the first weekend of September. The fair was founded in 1996 in Martinet de Cerdanya, but has been held continuously in Organyà since 2003, establishing itself as a meeting point for lovers of Pyrenean literature.

The Fair offers a wide range of activities designed for all audiences: book presentations, panel discussions, theater performances, literary competitions, workshops, and readings of works by authors from the Pyrenees. One of the most unique events is the reading of modern homilies in the church of Santa María de Organyà, including a secular homily, written specifically by a guest author.

Over the years, the Pyrenees Book Fair has become an essential cultural event that highlights literary creation linked to the region and fosters dialogue between writers, readers, and publishing professionals.
