Bell-lloc Festival, Santa Cristina d'Aro
The Bell-lloc Festival (Santa Cristina de Aro) arrives, which will be celebrated as is tradition in the church of Bell-lloc.
The celebration of the Festival of the Bell-lloc neighborhood coincides with the festival of the Mare de Déu de Agosto. After the solemn office, there will be sardanas and an aperitif for everyone.
A unique opportunity to discover the Church of Santa Maria de Bell-lloc, a pre-Romanesque church, in which the original building was built around the 6th century; the current church, in the 10th century; and the chapel built on the ruins of the primitive rotunda, in the 11th century. The rectory, attached to the church, dates from the 18th century.
