International Folkloric Days in La Torre de Claramunt
The fundamental objective of the International Folkloric Days of Catalonia is to enhance and energize the popular culture of our country and also to make Catalonia known about the folklore of other places in the world, through different cultural exchanges.
The Torre de Claramunt also joins these Days, so you can enjoy folklore groups from other countries.
This folkloric dissemination festival was born in 1972, in Barcelona, within the Esbart Lluís Millet, with the name of International Folkloric Days (JIF), and worked under the motto of "The dances of the people for our people." Groups Folklorists coming from all over the world alternated their performances with those of the flocks.
