Festival Mayor of Vilanova y la Geltrú

The Festival of Vilanova y la Geltrú is celebrated in honor of the Virgen de las Nieves, the patron saint of the city. Since the last weekend of July, with the celebration of the multitudinous correfoc, and until August 6, the city is experiencing its great summer party.

The traditional Vilanova folk dances fill the streets and squares of the city with music, fire, dance and, above all, passion, feeling and joy.

You will enjoy the rich and secular festive heritage of Vilanova la Geltrú through parades and exhibitions involving dragons, devils, mulasses, baton dances, ribbons, gypsies, cercolets, giants, big heads, castellers and many others!
