Carmen Festival in Empuriabrava
Castelló d'Empúries celebrates the feast of the Mother of Fios del Carmen, the patron saint of seafarers. Sailors, fishermen and navigators worship him to protect them from the most common dangers of the sea. For the municipality, it is one of the most important festivals, it is the Empuriabrava festival.

Empuriabrava is the residential marina of the municipality of Castelló d'Empúries. Located on the coast of the Bay of Roses and settled in the heart of the Empordà Wetlands Natural Park, it is one of the most beautiful marinas in the world.
