Festival of Sant Llorenç d'Hortons
Come and experience the Sant Llorenç d'Hortons Festival!
Every August 10th, coinciding with the feast of San Lorenzo, the town dresses up to celebrate its main festival. Although this is the main day, the activities extend over several days, taking advantage of the weekends to offer a full program of activities for all ages.
The Fiesta Mayor combines tradition and modernity, and its star event is the Terrazel, a nighttime show with popular and participatory roots that takes place on August 10th at 11 p.m. Created in 1990, it is inspired by the Patum de Berga and addresses, with an impressive staging, the issue of human pressure on the environment. A collective performance in which local authorities, the City Council, and the Hortonenca Cultural Society participate.
A lively, open celebration, designed for everyone, and filled with the energy of a people proudly celebrating their roots.
