Bassanova festival, Almenar

Bassanova, a town within the municipality of Almenar, celebrates its Fiesta Mayor (Main Festival) on the last weekend of August!

The events kick off with a high energy boost thanks to the nighttime gymkhana, a fun and participatory activity that kicks off the festivities. Music is a key player, with DJ sets by Essabonita, Balask, and Nauma, ensuring hours of dancing and fun well into the early hours.

The second day features a popular dinner in the plaza, a meeting point for locals and visitors. The full and affordable menu includes snacks, fideuá, drinks, ice cream, and coffee. After dinner, the atmosphere continues with a popular bingo and more music, featuring performances by DJ Abel Purroy and Nauma DJs.

The closing day combines tradition and culture. In the morning, there will be a bowling match, followed by solemn mass in the Bassanova church, with the participation of local officials and publicity, accompanied by music by Agnès Sellés and Montserrat Piqué. Afterward, in the schoolyard, there will be a musical aperitif with the group Tal Kual Versions, which will provide a festive and musical touch to the midday gathering.
