Experience Christmas in Gavà!

From 01/12/2025 to 05/01/2026
Gavà

In Gavà, the year ends and begins amidst celebrations. The cycle of festive activities kicks off on December 14th, coinciding with the feast of Sant Nicasi, the city's co-patron saint, and extends until the traditional Three Kings Parade, the culmination of a period filled with traditions, culture, and reunions.

The Sant Nicasi festival program is especially extensive and varied, designed so that everyone, regardless of age or preferences, can find something appealing. The Sant Nicasi Market stands out as one of the most emblematic spaces: a place to sample local products, discover crafts, and experience the true Christmas atmosphere. In addition, the city transforms with folk dances, displays of traditional culture, live music performances, and theatrical productions that bring life to the streets and municipal facilities. And of course, there are the fireworks displays, which add light, color, and a touch of excitement to Gavà's winter festivities.

With the arrival of Christmas and Three Kings Day, activities focus especially on traditions beloved by young and old alike. The Caga Tió, with its blend of wonder and family custom; the Home dels Nassos, which sparks children's curiosity; and the Royal Postmen's encampment, set up in the Museum gardens, are must-see attractions for those who want to experience this magical time of year. Also noteworthy is the Enchanted Forest, a space that combines fantasy and nature and has become one of the most popular spots for families and groups of friends.

Finally, the arrival of Their Majesties the Three Kings, followed by the parade that winds through several city streets, brings to a close the festivities that year after year keep the community spirit alive. It is a moment of shared enthusiasm, in which Gavà comes together to welcome the Kings and symbolically close one year to usher in the next with hope and joy.
