Cunit Carnival
The Cunit Carnival will explode again this year with the Gran Rua de Carrozas y Comparsas as the central event!
The history of the Cunit Carnival begins after the summer of 1987, a group of Cunitans decided to organize the Carnival festivity and thus it began in 1988. The project took shape, encouraged by the first acceptance of the neighborhood, finally about twenty people, from different social areas of the municipality agree to formalize and organize the first Cunit Carnival.
It was decided that the central axis of the festival would be the parade of floats, a costume ball, and a party for the children and the first groups of floats were organized.
The Carnival is one of the main renowned cultural events that has a great impact beyond the municipality, since year after year it attracts thousands of people and visitors.
