Bruc Timbaler Festival

The El Bruc Timbaler Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. It's a lively and emotional celebration that transports us back to a key moment in the town's history. In the incomparable setting of El Bruc, the spirit of resistance and community that marked the battles against Napoleon's army is recreated.

The period atmosphere permeates the streets with themed markets, military encampments, historical reenactments, and live music. Children and adults alike can enjoy activities tailored to all ages, including drum workshops, oil tastings, traveling shows, and art exhibitions.

The floral offering, the ceremony of the Honorary Drummer, and the parade, accompanied by choirs and recreation groups, give a solemn and symbolic tone to the celebration. The Taberna del Sometent becomes a warm meeting place, with homemade food and a good atmosphere for sharing experiences. Theatrical performances, featuring characters such as Carmeta, Joana, and the traitor, bring stories of courage and ingenuity in the midst of conflict.
