Aplec de Puiggraciós in Bigues i Riells
It is a tradition in the town of Bigues i Riells to celebrate the traditional meeting on Easter Monday in the Sanctuary of Puiggraciós. After a few years in which the event has gone downhill, the Tres Tombs de Bigues group is trying to revive it.
Traditionally, the people of Bigues i Riells go up to the Sanctuary of Puiggraciós on foot, passing by the hermitage of San Bartolomé de Mont-ras for breakfast. Currently, the possibility of going up, also, on horseback, by car or by tractor, has been incorporated.
Once in the Sanctuary, the religious service is celebrated, which, for a few years, is followed by a sung of caramelles.
Since the year of the 300th anniversary of the Sanctuary of Puiggraciós, the meeting closes with a fellowship meal.
