Lyon celebrates its Grand Festival of Lights this weekend. As night falls, the city of Lyon illuminates, creating a magical nightlife. More than 300 squares, monuments, buildings, and bridges are bathed in light, transforming into vibrant tableaux of colors. Spotlights illuminate the streets, and all these lights, accompanied by music, projections, and shows, create a surreal atmosphere in the city. This event is recognized as unique in Europe. Nearby, the charming city of Annecy, known as the Venice of the Alps, completes the experience with its illuminated canals and magical Christmas market.

DAY 1 - BARCELONA - LYON - Lights of Lyon

Departure by coach into France. Stops en route for breakfast and lunch (not included). In the afternoon, we will arrive in Lyon, where the grand Festival of Lights is taking place. Free time to begin our visit to the Festival of Lights, where you can dine at your leisure at the various stalls offering typical food in its traditional Christmas Market and start enjoying the spectacular Lyon Lights display along a guided route through the city's different squares and streets. At the agreed time, we will transfer to our 4-star hotel located in the Lyon area. Overnight stay.

DAY 2 - LYON - Lyon Christmas Market and Lights

Breakfast. This morning we will take a guided coach tour of Lyon, ascending to the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourvière, perched atop a prominent hill. From there, we will enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of Lyon and take a walking tour to learn about the history of this city, which once housed Roman legion settlements on the hill and later became the administrative and religious capital of the Three Gauls (Lyonian, Aquitaine, and Belgic). After the tour, you will have the day free to explore the city's traditional Christmas Market. In the city center, dozens of wooden stalls form a picturesque Christmas market where you can sample regional products while admiring this beautiful and bustling market. From 8:00 PM onwards, you can join a walking tour of the events scheduled for the occasion. To make the most of your time, lunch and dinner are not included. At the agreed time, we will return to the hotel. Overnight stay

DAY 3 - ANNECY "The Venice of the Alps"

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure for the city of Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie region. In this beautiful city, known as the "Venice of the Alps," we will take a stroll through the truly enchanting Old Town, with its captivating canals lined with flowers, beautiful bridges, and charming houses with colorful facades, especially dazzling at Christmas. Free time will be available to explore the Christmas market and the surrounding canals. In the afternoon, at the agreed time, we will return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 4 - LYON - NARBONNE - PLACE OF ORIGIN

Breakfast. Departure for the city of Narbonne. Stop en route for lunch (not included). Arrival in Narbonne. This historic city, founded in 118 BC, was the first Roman colony outside of Italy. Its 2,500 years of history tell you better than anyone why strolling through the city streets is a true journey through time. We will have free time to explore its traditional Christmas market, one of the most highly recommended in the south of France. Continue the journey back to our point of origin.
