CosmoJove <35: "The sky in real time and the universe under the microscope"
If you are between 16 and 35 years old, interested in science, or simply curious and enjoy experimenting and learning, come to the CosmoJove <35 plans.
Do you want to see the starry sky like never before and discover what's in a meteorite?
You'll be able to contemplate Barcelona's sky like never before, without air or light pollution . In the planetarium session "Today's Sky," our educational staff will explain which celestial objects and constellations can be observed in this starry sky, and also which ones can't. The Moon will be invisible that day, but it will grow until, on November 5th, it becomes the most attractive supermoon of the year. Why will the Moon appear up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than average? At what time can you see the supermoon? After the program, we will have the opportunity to discuss it, reflect together, and answer any questions you may have.
To complete the afternoon's plan, you can see the universe under a magnifying glass at Micrarium: we'll use microscopes to observe meteorites, among other fascinating samples from space, and discover what they can tell us about the origins of our planet.
You'll also be able to visit the Universe Room and the "Extraterrestrials. Is There Life Beyond Earth?" exhibition at your own pace with the help of our educational team.
Plan your experience however you like.
We look forward to seeing you!
