Habaneras de Calafell sung
The most relevant groups from the world of habanera will meet again in Calafell, on the occasion of the celebration of a new edition of the Cantada de Habaneras de Calafell.
This meeting is already an essential event of the genre and the most important in southern Catalonia, as well as the only one that has the uniqueness of being held on two consecutive days. It is also known for being open to other musical genres, integrated into the so-called " tavern song ", which goes beyond the traditional habanera.
The performances take place on the Paseo Marítimo de Sant Joan de Déu (between C/Mallorca and C/Carme).
