Meeting of Giants in Sant Llorenç d'Hortons
Sant Llorenç d'Hortons is filled with giants again!
Sant Llorenç d'Hortons will be filled with music, color, and popular culture with the celebration of Terrazel de Gigantes, a festival that is already part of the heart of the municipality and the Catalan giant calendar.
The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Calle Mayor, with the arrival of the groups and the planting of giants. At 6:30 p.m., in La Sala SCH, the exhibition "The Elements of the Terrazel Festival" will be inaugurated, and there will be a merchandise stand, featuring this year's new T-shirt.
Starting at 7 p.m., the parade will begin with another route through the town's streets. Groups from all over the town will participate: Villa de Gracia, Martorell, Corbera, San Juan de Vilatorrada, Ribes de Freser, San Sadurní, Cabezudos de Can Benet de la Prua, and the local group.
The dances and the presentation of souvenirs will take place in Mossèn Comerma Square at 8 p.m., and the celebration will continue with the fellowship dinner at 9 p.m. on Paseo Marimon Llança.
