Alt Àneu

Don't miss the Falles de Valencia d'Àneu (Alt Àneu)!

Every year, this charming village in Pallars Sobirà celebrates the traditional descent of the fallas (fallas ) as part of the Sant Pere festival. This festival, revived in the early 1980s, is part of the rich Pyrenean cultural heritage and keeps alive an ancient tradition that unites locals and visitors for a magical and symbolic evening.

The fallaires descend from the mountain with very particular fallas: a small hazel or birch trunk, less than a metre long, with two cross-shaped incisions at one end, where the torch handles are placed which, when burned, illuminate the night with spectacular flames.

Come and live a unique and authentic experience!

Don't miss it!
