Sun and vermouth at the Lladurs Castle Astronomical Center
Have you ever seen our star, the Sun, with a telescope?
Did you know that it's necessary to use approved filters to avoid eye injuries? Do you want to see sunspots, protuberances, and solar flares in complete safety?
If you want to learn more about the Sun, observe it through a telescope, and enjoy a vermouth with exceptional views, you'll love this activity.
This experience takes place on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. You can book a private session for your group or family.
We'll begin the activity in the room, explaining details about our Sun and what we can see through the telescope. We'll end by climbing the tower to admire a unique landscape and observe the Sun through telescopes with two filters: a conventional one to see sunspots and a Hydrogen Alpha filter to see protuberances and solar flares.
In case of bad weather or clouds, an alternative activity will be held about the sun and upcoming events related to our star. The tower will also be visited if conditions permit.
Don't miss it!
