Corpus Christi in Sant Feliu de Llobregat
Once again this year, Sant Feliu is dressing up for a festive celebration to mark one of the most emblematic and deep-rooted traditions of the liturgical and cultural calendar: the feast of Corpus Christi. From June 19 to 22, 2025, the city will experience various events filled with symbolism, color, and popular participation, with the Cathedral of San Lorenzo as the epicenter of the celebration.
L'OU COM BALLA
From June 19th to 22nd, the Cathedral's side courtyard will host this unique and poetic tradition that sparks the curiosity of both children and adults. The "Ou com balla" (ball of the owl) is one of the most beautiful symbols of Corpus Christi and can be seen throughout the weekend.
Floral Carpet
On Sunday, June 22, starting at 12 noon, the Plaza de la Villa will be filled with flowers with the popular making of the Corpus Christi carpet, a collaborative and artistic activity that invites everyone to participate and be part of this beloved ephemeral mosaic.
Corpus Christi Eucharist and Procession
On the same Sunday, June 22, at 7:00 p.m., the Solemn Mass will take place in the SE Cathedral of Sant Llorenç, presided over by Bishop Mons.
At 8:00 p.m., the solemn procession will begin from the Puerta del Roser, passing through Pi i Margall and the Plaza de la Vila, with the participation of the Old Giants, the City of Roses Symphonic Band and the girls and boys of first communion.
The event will culminate with the solemn blessing at the altar located in the square and the return to the Cathedral through the main door, where the traditional dance of the Old Giants will be held.
A celebration that unites spirituality, culture, and community, with the collaboration of many organizations in the city! We look forward to celebrating Corpus 2025 with you!
