Castañada at Casal Sant Jordi with sardana dance, Aiguafreda

Saturday, October 25th, we invite you to enjoy a very traditional afternoon with the popular Castañada, a festival that connects us with our cultural roots and the warmth of autumn. Starting at 5:00 p.m., we will be handing out roasted chestnuts and piping hot sweet potatoes so that everyone can share a good time with family, friends, and neighbors.

The festivities continue at 6:00 p.m. with a sardana performance by the renowned Cobla Lluïsos, which will fill the square with Catalan music and dance. Whether you're up for dancing or just enjoying the atmosphere, it'll be a perfect afternoon to celebrate our traditions.
