Children's workshop: Mimicry and pictionary at the Espai Columba, Andorra

The paintings of Sant Esteve de Andorra la Vella are distinguished, especially in comparison with previous pictorial cycles, by a marked expressiveness. In this style of transition between Romanesque and Gothic, rigid and expressionless faces are left behind to endow the characters with vivacity and feeling.

To explore the iconography of these paintings, their characters and expressions, after a visit focused on the paintings of Sant Esteve de Andorra la Vella, children are divided into three or four groups. Through drawing and mime, a representative of each group must make their classmates guess the assigned character or scene.
