25th Trementinaires Festival 2025

A new edition of the Trementinaires Festival is coming on May 23, 24, and 25 in the Vansa and Tuixent Valleys, a blend of nature and folk wisdom!

This commemoration pays tribute to the women who, for centuries, traveled throughout Catalonia offering natural remedies based on medicinal herbs. The turpentine women of the Vansa-Josa and Tuixén valleys traveled the world laden with herbs and home remedies.

The event includes a wide range of cultural activities, workshops, lectures, and botanical tours, as well as guided tours of the Trementinaires Museum. Highlights include the Herbes Remeieres Fair, the Llancers Ball, a dance concert, storytelling, and book presentations. Specialized courses on aromatic plants, natural cosmetics, and ethnobotany are also offered throughout the summer.

The event, supported by several town councils and local organizations, is an excellent opportunity to connect with nature, learn about ethnobotany, and enjoy a festive atmosphere steeped in traditional culture.
