Farrera
The great variety of landscapes that surround the municipality of Farrera give it a magical touch that makes it unique in its kind. The large extensions of pine forests, oaks, firs, holm oaks, Mediterranean bushes, meadows and rocky areas form a set of great beauty. The less than 100 inhabitants of the region live in six small towns that have managed to preserve the tranquility of their life in the mountains.
The richness of the livestock sector, reflected by the presence of numerous old farms, is spread out in small valleys among which the unique Burg Lake is hidden. A series of animal species in danger of extinction, such as the famous heather rooster or the ferocious wild cat, find refuge in the corners of this colorful valley that will remain etched in the memory of the visitor.
