Calafell Rock-a-Billy Festival
Calafell will be the scene of a new edition of the Rock-a-Billy Festival, a musical event of international level, considered the best in Europe dedicated to the popular American genre of the 50s, which attracts thousands of visitors year after year.
Apart from having the presence of some of the best groups in the world of this genre, another attraction of the festival is the traditional vinyl collectors market and the rockabilly aesthetic clothing and accessories market, as well as the possibility of seeing many American vehicles from the 50s.
The rock-a-billy musical genre is a combination of rock and roll and country music that emerged in the United States in the 1950s.
