Fair of products from the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the Ara Sheep

Arrós de Cardós (Esterri de Cardós) celebrates a new edition of the Fair of the products of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and the Aranese Sheep!

The Alt Pirineu Natural Park and Aranese Sheep Fair is an annual event that showcases local agricultural and artisanal products, as well as traditional activities linked to the region. With the support of local organizations and the active participation of the local population, the fair offers a vivid example of the rural and livestock culture of the Pyrenees.

The agricultural and artisan market brings together producers from the Natural Park and other nearby protected areas for a day filled with authentic flavors, crafts, and popular knowledge. You can also see displays of traditional livestock, such as Aranese sheep and Pallaresa cows, as well as competitions highlighting ancient crafts, such as cholla making.

The fair is accompanied by cultural and educational activities such as talks, nature workshops, guided tours, family shows, and activities to explore the landscape and biodiversity. Community spaces are also being restored and sustainability is being promoted through initiatives such as bioengineering and landscape management.
