Exhibition: REGRACIAR by Carlota Delgar

From August 2nd to 31st, for five weekends, the Can Puget exhibition hall will be open to the public, Thursday through Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy contemporary art in a welcoming and inspiring setting.

This exhibition, titled REGRACIAR, is Carlota Delgar's third at Can Puget, following her previous exhibitions LA CARA OCULTA (2013) and AMANSINT BABUÏNS (2018). On this occasion, Delgar is exhibiting around 40 paintings in different formats, predominantly oils, but also including some watercolors that bring a special freshness to her work.

In REGRACIAR, the artist addresses themes that deeply motivate her, such as people, flowers, and animals. Delgar emphasizes the importance of the relationship between colors and their vibrations, believing this to be the magic of painting: from any subject, one can reach the universal. Her work invites reflection on life and the experiences that surround us.

Delgar's intention is for her paintings to convey a positive vision of life experience. For her, painting is a medium that forces her to see the world from a different perspective. The artist often marvels at how her own work speaks to her and guides her in the creative process. She begins with an idea, but often lets herself be led down unexpected paths, trusting her intuition and allowing herself to be surprised by the final result.

Delgar firmly believes that awareness and personal knowledge are fundamental to her artistic process. She experiences painting as a dialogue between what we are and what we don't yet know we are. Artistic creation is pure, free, and profoundly human. Any action done with awareness can be considered a work of art. REGRACIAR is, therefore, an invitation to celebrate life and be grateful for everything we have.
