This is an award for tourism promotion in Catalan, where the linguistic quality and creativity of the campaigns carried out by femturisme.cat in the field of tourism has been recognized.
The jury, made up of representatives from the field of Administration, the tourism sector, tourist communication, graphic arts and digital production, has especially valued the use of the Catalan language, the quality of materials, creativity and the innovative proposals of the campaign "Catalunya en route #entretotsfemturisme".
Linguistic quality and creativity of campaigns
The Alimara CAT Award, given jointly with the Directorate General of Language Policy and the General Directorate of Tourism of the Generalitat of Catalonia, has awarded the campaign Catalunya en route #entretotsfemturisme. The jury evaluated the good linguistic quality of the texts of the winning campaign, which presents the information in a clear and simple way in four languages. And also, the good use it makes of the Catalan language; the clarity and structure of the descriptions; and the language, the communicative style and the degree of formality adapted to the different communication channels (web, bulletins and social networks). The award was presented by Mrs. Montserrat Nadal, head of the Service of Promotion of the Use of Catalan to the Generalitat of Catalonia.
According to the project managers Jordi Lemonche and Joan Quintana, the objective of the campaign was precisely to diversify the tourism proposals of Catalonia and above all to rediscover our territory.
After the success of the campaign, this recognition reinforces the idea of project continuity. "We want to awaken the interest of all the curious for tourism in Catalonia," said Lemonche and Quintana. "Our goal is for everyone to enjoy the country with all the senses creating a tourist identity and a country."
