September 11 and Gironella
On September 10, a representation that commemorates the events of September 11, 1714 in Gironella. The central axis of the plot, which takes place in the Pont Vell Rocks of the town, focuses on explaining the struggle and resistance of a family from Gironella at that historical moment, when one of its members goes to fight in Barcelona.

The Day of September 11, in memory of the end of the War of Succession in 1714, is declared a National Holiday of Catalonia. On the occasion of that day, various institutional events and demonstrations are organized and, in addition, it is a holiday throughout Catalonia.
