Pirate and Corsair Fair in the Medes Islands - L'Estartit

L'Estartit will once again be the setting for one of the most anticipated events of the year: the Medes Islands Pirate and Corsair Fair!

A celebration that fills the streets with legend, adventure, and activities for the whole family, transporting the town back to the era of corsair attacks and great seafaring exploits.

The program includes children's craft and scarf-printing workshops, storytelling, street performances, and guided tours that allow them to discover local history and heritage. Little ones can enjoy the Little Pirate Space, with pony rides and family games, while older children have the opportunity to experience sailing lessons, kayaking, snorkeling, and boat tours with music and entertainment.

The Artisan Market is one of the main attractions, with stalls selling local and artisan products that bring life to the center of Estartit. There's also a cultural opportunity with exhibitions, book presentations, and visits to the Can Bernat Museum.

One of the most anticipated moments is the Night of Fire and the Pirate Landing, with correfocs and shows on the beach that combine music, fireworks, and dramatization. Music plays a prominent role, with concerts and tavern song tastings, which reinforce the nautical atmosphere.

The fair culminates with massive parades, theatrical entertainment, and the final show, which brings together the public and participants in a grand, festive farewell.
