Let's meet the Nin of Salomó!
Every Sunday at 11 in the morning there will be a tour of Salomó 's heritage where it will be revealed who the Nin were.
This activity is complemented by the Ball Parlat that is performed every Sunday in May. Salomó's Ball Parlat explains a legend where the Nin are protagonists.
The Ball of Sant Crist de Salomó is a theatrical show with medieval roots declared a Patrimonial Festive Element of National Interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya. It belongs to the genre of spoken dances. It stages some legendary events from the 16th century that popular tradition has maintained to this day.
He explains that, due to the hunger suffered by the town and the entire region, a merchant from Solomon, Josep Nin, embarked for Algiers in search of wheat. He returned with the food, but also with the image of a Crucifix that, miraculously, he bought for thirty coins and after many obstacles.
