Days of the Industrial Colonies of Berguedà
The concentration of existing textile colonies in Berguedà is a unique environment throughout Europe that places Berguedà and Catalonia at the spearhead of the
textile development in the territory at the end of the s. XIX and beginnings of s. XX. For this reason, it is important to implement actions that combine the visualization of tourism and business development possibilities together with reflection actions that offer new alternatives to these spaces.
The Days of the Industrial Colonies of Berguedà consist of recreational and cultural activities in order to attract visitors. Reflective activities are also organized for people with a deeper knowledge of the dynamics and casuistry existing in these nuclei
with frenetic activity during the industrial revolution and that are currently depopulated and in disuse.
Of the different activities we can highlight the great theatrical visit of Saturday at the Cal Vidal Museum that transports us to the life and everyday life of the colonies from an experiential perspective, approaching that reality our days using a nice and close pedagogy, learning through interpretation.
