Hostal Palouet de Segarra / Cal Xuriguera Massoteres
Palouet is a small town in the municipality of Massoteres, made up of about twenty houses, in the center of which is Cal Xuriguera. From 1601, it is the ancestral home of the family of descendants of Magí Soriguera, who acquired it in 1616.
The house was totally rehabilitated over more than five years, preserving the charm of the crushed stone walls, as well as original details of the house, such as the press or the winery, being reopened, as a Hotel and Restaurant, in November 2009.
The two upper floors, dedicated to the Hotel, have 15 double rooms with bathroom, underfloor heating, air conditioning - individual heat pump, TV and safe.
The accommodation includes breakfast, which is served in the kitchen of the hostel, where there is a pantry, full of snacks and drinks available for consumption (with supplement). It has two terraces and four common living rooms, two of them with a fireplace.
Customers can enjoy, at no extra cost, the pleasure of diving into the heated pool (in winter only, weekends and holidays), enjoy the benefits of a relaxing sauna or recharge with the sun's energy in the solarium of the Age of the house.
The main floor of the house is dedicated to the Restaurant, traditional Catalan cuisine with touches of originality and fantasy, where the quality of the products, their careful presentation and good prices are its main identity features.
It offers a daily and weekend menu, as well as a la carte service.
It has three rooms, with a capacity from 12 to 180 people, with a joint capacity of approximately 225 people. Ideal for any type of family and private celebrations, as well as any type of event, convention or company meeting.
