Can Forcadell Breda
Home
Can Forcadell is a stately home built in the 1970s that, after careful remodeling, has been converted into 5 tourist apartments for individual use. Each one has a living room-dining room-kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. They have heating-air conditioning and complete interior equipment. But the different foreign services they enjoy are even more remarkable. Thus, in the well-kept garden with relaxing rest or reading areas, we must add a paddle tennis court for the exclusive use of the occupants of the apartments, a swimming pool (summer only), a barbecue area with tables and the necessary equipment, a children's sports center, table-tennis and a place to store bicycles. Also access to Wi-Fi throughout the premises and well-equipped common laundry.

Where do we meet?
Breda is a town and municipality in the La Selva region. It is part of the Montseny Natural Park and is located between the Montseny Massif and Montnegre. It has an altitude of 169 m above sea level and the municipality has an area of 5 km2. The population is close to reaching 4,000 people.
It was formed around the Benedictine monastery of Sant Salvador, whose church was consecrated in the year 1068 and which is still the parish church today. The Lombard Romanesque style bell tower stands out, measuring 32 m in height. Also preserved, attached to the church, is the north wing of the cloister from the 13th or 14th centuries and, a few meters away, the courtyard of the Abbey from the 15th century.
Other places of interest are the church of Santa Maria, the old parish church, the hermitage of Santa Anna with a magnificent view over the town, the Els Forns Cultural Center, an old clay workshop, and the Josep Aragay Museum, dedicated to promoting of the work of this Noucentista artist.
It is also worth mentioning the Castle of Montsoriu, which although it is not located within the municipality of Breda, presides over it and is a faithful observer from its privileged position.
The natural environment invites the visitor to explore on foot or by bicycle the many paths that go through the forests until they reach the hills and peaks that offer beautiful views.
The gastronomy of the area, based on local products, is a complement that will not disappoint all those who are looking for simple but quality cuisine.
And on Sundays you can enjoy the Breda open-air market with your family with local products and products from the neighboring counties.
